Jude Johnstone ‘A Woman’s Work’
(Bojak Records/Hemifran)
After meeting Bruce Springsteen’s sax man Clarence Clemons in the late 1970s in New Jersey, the music career of Jude Johnstone started. In 1979 she relocated to L.A. and started writing songs, which eventually led to other singers recording them. Artists like Laura Branigan, Stevie Nicks, Bette Middler, Trisha Yearwood, Jenifer Warnes, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash and many others recorded songs written by Jude. Meanwhile in the 2000s Jude also started recording solo records and the latest is ‘A Woman’s Work’ a beautiful singer/songwriter album that can easily be compared to Carole King. No fillers, all winners and a real classic 1970s singer/songwriter sound is what we get to hear. More info on Jude at:https://www.bojakrecords.com/
